Firestarter Magazine #3 Cover

I'm really happy and humbled to have been asked to create the cover for the 3rd edition of the Firestarter Magazine. For the last two months I spent all my free time on it between client work. I'm really glad to be able to share it with you now and hopefully you'll be able to get your hands on a copy of Firestarter Magazine at a large number of digital art events around the world this year or from their website https://firestartermagazine.com .
The idea behind this illustration is that in an alternate timeline science and art had become the dominant religion during the Renaissance. Technology, science and technology advances at a much higher rate. Large public spaces where build where the advancements were celebrated, explained and discussed. In the middle we see one of the scientists/nuns explain our solar system and universe.
Just a few stats; over 200 layers in Photoshop, just under 11K in resolution, 6 audiobooks where devoured, and too many ready meals were eaten.
